Medical Concerns or Current Health Issues: Sable has the bow legs typical of the breed. She developed a luxated patella last fall and had successful surgery to correct it. She is back to her energetic self, however, we are giving her glucosamine supplements to strengthen her joints.
Reason(s) for rehoming the dog: Sable is a Craigs List “free” dog that I took after reading the disturbing post from her owners. I learned later that a cruelty complaint had been filed against them. She was stolen from me shortly afterwards by people who wanted to breed her. [There is a dog fighting ring in the area.] I went to court to have her returned to me, and I have been searching for a good home for this very nice but energetic dog ever since.

I understand that there are no written or verbal guarantees given or implied regarding the placement of this animal other than Shorty’s Rescue Network's best efforts. I promise to provide vaccination records as indicated above as well as any other pertinent medical information.
