The Purpose of Shorty's Rescue Network - MUST READ BEFORE POSTING

We receive upwards of 300 emails per week from individuals seeking urgent homes for their dogs, all across the country.  We are primarily run by volunteers and DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER LOCATION
Shorty's Rescue is a small organization of pit bull owners, rescuers, and supporters.  Shorty's Rescue does not have kennels nor boarding facilities. All pit bulls that are rescued are either fostered to individuals or placed in rescue shelters such as Linda Blair's facility.

The creation of Shorty's Rescue Network is in an attempt and effort to assist in matchmaking individuals who need permanent homes for the dogs they have in their care and potentially find new homes by posting your dog here.  Adopters who inquire to Shorty's Rescue, whom are not within the state of California will be directed to this blog.

Shorty's Pit Bull Rescue does not adopt our dogs out of state, as we guarantee them a home for life and keep them nearby.

To find a new home for your dog, START HERE.
